Product Description
Lucide RECESSED is a black recessed LED dimmer with a square frame and a matt synthetic housing. It serves as a lighting control where compatible light sources need adjustable brightness, for example in a dining area or living room. The supplied black frame provides a finished appearance on the wall. This is a control accessory, so the connected lamps determine the light’s colour and brightness.
The dimmer offers RL leading-edge control for a 5–150 W load and RC trailing-edge control for a 5–300 W load. Select the mode to match the requirements of the dimmable bulb or LED driver. These limits refer to the connected load, not the dimmer’s own consumption. Both the minimum and maximum load for the selected mode must be observed; the maximum power alone does not establish compatibility.
A trim screw adjusts the minimum and maximum dimming levels to find a range suited to the connected light sources. Compatibility must be tested before final fixing: flickering or humming may indicate an unsuitable combination of source, driver and dimmer. It includes soft start and protection against overload, overheating and interference. It also supports a two-way switching arrangement in accordance with the instructions.
Overall dimensions are 7.6 × 7.6 × 5.1 cm, and net weight is 0.09 kg. Installation requires a standard recessed box with screw-fixing holes; separate expansion clips are not supplied. Check the physical fit of the box and frame before purchase. The package contains the frame, installation accessories and a Busch-Jaeger/Niko frame adapter. The manufacturer also lists Berker, Gira, Jung, Merten by Schneider and Peha frame families; compatibility of the particular frame must be checked separately. The internal mechanism is 70 × 70 mm, with 60.3 mm between fixing centres. The rear mechanism depth is 24.6 mm, and the front shaft projection is 19.3 mm. These component dimensions help check space in the box and frame compatibility.
The specified mains connection is 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz. IP20 means dry indoor use without water protection. The dimmer requires compatible dimmable light sources or drivers, not included. It carries a 2-year warranty.
